While I agree that high-quality audio recordings are not a requirement to post here, it’s worth noting that Iain specifically requested feedback on the audio/recording quality in his initial post. And that’s valid, here, as well: learning about recording and production can be part of the “learning guitar” process if someone is interested in it.

I’m impressed with the high production effort many put into their songs and yet I’m also conflicted by it. A friend of mine privately made the following comment to me on production efforts.

This house has many rooms… and most hold something good for everybody
I wouldn’t worry too much about what others think. It’s what gives you pleasure that you should focus on. If that includes tone & production- go for it!
