Announcements
When making an announcement, include as many details as possible. Research shows that smaller groups foster better connections, so we recommend keeping your study groups to no more than, say, twelve people. Consider factors like time zone, meeting availability, and whether you’d prefer in-person or online meet-ups.

Self-Management
We encourage you to take the lead in managing your study groups. Use the Study & Buddy Groups Area as your central hub so we can stay updated on your activities without direct involvement.

Ethical Considerations
Please ensure all interactions are respectful and supportive. If you don’t have anything positive to contribute, please consider remaining silent. Remember, we are a diverse and multicultural Community - let’s all work together to keep it a positive, supportive, and safe place!

Additional notes.

If you form or join with an online study-buddy group, there are multiple options available to you re: communicating with one another.

  • Use your own topic in this Community space
  • Use the Messaging system of the Community (you can have multiple people in a message thread with up to 500 posts before the need to open a new thread)
  • Use an online meeting software - Zoom, Skype, Google Meets etc.
  • Other online messaging platforms

Have fun.
