If I remember correctly, Justin suggests accented 8th note strumming for Tom Waits https://www.justinguitar.com/songs/tom-waits-hold-on-chords-tabs-guitar-lesson-sb-104 as well

Try Walk of Life by Dire Straits. Justin starts the lesson with 4 down strums, then goes to 8 down strums, then later he recommends a rock and roll strumming pattern. I’m sticking with the 8 down strums for now, it’s about all I can do at about 75% speed, 129 bpm with the metronome. Not sure when, if ever, I’ll get to 172 bpm!

A few other songs that Justin teaches using all down 8th note strumming
Hit Me Baby One More Time - Britney
Hey Jude - Beatles
Blowin Smoke - Kacey Musgraves
Three great songs as well.

Another great song to practice this is: Collective Soul - Run
The song also incorporates the dreaded F chord, allowing you to practice both techniques at the same time.
