Anyone use Black Mountain picks?

Thanks so much Tony for doing that and all your feedback is so helpful.
I am going to buy a couple and give them a go.

I bought one some time back and although it is easier for me to use then all the other thumb picks I had tried up to then I never used it much. It’s only benefit is it gives me a punchier bass note then I get with my thumb but at the expense of poorer control and accuracy. Black Mountain do have quite a few options: light, medium & heavy, plus tight spring and jazz type! At £5.95 each it’s not cheap to try them all! I was recently introduced to a Fred Kelly Delrin thumb pick and I’m persevering with it. Although it doesn’t look any different to a typical Dunlop I just get on with it better. I think because it’s softer then the others I’ve tried. Not so stiff.

I never trust the comments on Facebook ad threads. I’ve seen too many with poster after poster raving about some product that I know is cheap crap. There are far too many companies that create fake accounts just to give themselves positive ratings.
