April AVOYPS ; 4/4/23 - Improv in C; 7/4/23 - Improv 1645 C Major

Thanks for the kind words David. Glad you enjoyed it.
Doing this sort of stuff certainly gives me the most joy. And while the execution is not yet at the consistency I’d like, the journey is certainly an adventure.
Coming back to the major scale in improv, after flying ( sometimes erratically) around the fretboard with the pentatonics etc, is starting to give me some newfound understanding of melody. Hopefully it develops into something.

Cheers, Shane

Both of those were very sweet, Shane, with great tones but for me the second one was the better of the two. Nice and laid back and it seemed more, expressive, in the playing.

Sounding great Shane. Your lead really fit the vibe of the backing track.

Nice sounding lead, Shane. Love the tone and you’ve got some good techniques that are coming along well.

Hi Shane,
Not much to add to what others have said about the first effort - a bit of room to breathe would’ve added to the overall listening experience. The second was lovely - though I think one of your strings might have been slightly out of tune - look out for that. Some of the runs you have are really sweet.
