Summer / Winter thing is very easy for many of us Scots. Summer in parts of Scotland can be very wintery: I remember snow falling on my birthday, June 1st, when I lived in Dundee!

good idea, i found this in the song library, a song I really like, but which is way beyond my level, so please, please, can one of the advanced players play it?
When will the AVOYP topic be coming? Do we have to start practising already? With the Christmas theme, the timeline was clearly defined, but here it feels like we’re missing the starting signal.

I stated in the first post that it would run from July to the end of august since summer is longer than the christmas period / advent
but since its a survey you can give me your opinion like , do you feel like june should be included ?

Really depends on your ability to learn a song
I thought Id give a signal to start practicing 2 months prior summer , so if its starts in July it would be in May
But since Im a slow learner I already started practicing my song ^^”
Im open to any ideas you might all have about the subject ^^

why would you need a start time. There’s an old saying
“when is the best time to plant a tree?”

20 years ago or Today.
So why not start practicing “Here Comes the Sun” today and maybe you’ll have a descent version to share at the Summer AVOYP and if not this year next year.
