At least it shows the rhythm guitar part.

Nice one Jim! That looks like real fun putting the song parts together - the video stuff maybe less so based on your notes at the start of the post.

I can relate to what you said. I sing Alto and when I have to go high, the tone isn’t appealing. I learned a trick from Chris Liepe to sing more with the breath when it goes high. Sometimes it works, but a whole song that high would be too much, I think.

Thanks for the listen and kind words Molly. Your correct. I did have fun putting that one together. 3-4 weeks worth.

And your correct there too. I just don’t know how to use the program and it seems very complicated. A real serious learning curve, at least for me. This lack of skill and understanding of the program made that part of it more frustrating that fun. Though, after it’s together, the results were satisfying in the end. fwiw, it’s still not like I wanted it. I wanted 3 individual panes, 3 parts. I never could get that far. A pic in a pic was the best I could muster up.

Thanks for the insight Pamela. Any instruction on singing would be good for me as I’ve never had any singing instruction at all. I participated in all the band activities when I was a kid. I participated in zero singing classes.
Interesting about your comment on singing with breath. When I did this I remember exhaling more as I was doing it, pushing more from the diaphragm, which was important to do when playing a horn (many teachers reiterated this to me) like in my younger days. I don’t remember ever trying that before when I sing and it seemed to help me get higher notes than I normally can sing. Even the high parts of what I do sing are out of my normal range and this exhaling more breath seemed to help me get higher notes.
Thanks for the great insight and help for me with this comment.
