Benny the 29 year old learner : )

Hello everyone! Benny here from Australia. I used to play electric guitar on and off for about a year when I was around 16.

I then stopped due to having so many hobbies haha.

I have finally got back into it at 29 years of age, I purchased a ESP LTD Viper100fm and a Boss Katana 50 amplifier. also have a mic and loop station I am currently learning at the same time.

so far I have learnt D, A and E chords and I am very comfortable with the changes and keeping a rhythm going, I am going to install and pay for Justins guitar app to play along with backing tracks.

I found JustinGuitar course through people on Facebook and Youtube and I am very grateful.

I really want to stick this out, I am having a lot of fun with it. Happy to be here : )

Hey Benny! Welcome to the journey and the community! You’ve found a great place. The app is awesome, I found that first, then discovered the website and the extra content here later (ie: the course on using a Boss Katana!).

Have you found the Katana community Facebook groups and sites where you can get free patches yet? One of my favorite parts about the Katana, is the awesome community around it. It’s far more robust than the other combo modeler amp communities.
