Hi Brian,
Yes, we’re working on some new stuff and a cover.
Just fitting it in around Hols and work.
Just got back from Turkey, which was great.

I went to one of my most reliable sources for musical recommendations across a broad landscape of genres, my brother, and he too suggested The Bends, and then from later in their career Hail To The Thief, and finally of course OK Computer.
While I have not done as Justin would suggest viz dedicate time and sit back to just listen to the albums, I have had all three playing in my ear-buds over the last few days when not in meetings.
Certainly engaging albums with a great deal of depth and I can imagine appreciating the albums all the more with repeated listening. First impressions are general good, though every now and then gets a little too ‘progressive’ for my taste, but then I am a simple rocker at heart.
Try KidA now that’ll be interesting!
@Rossco01 Gave it a listen, Jason. Without being scientific my gut sense is that there were fewer tracks that grabbed me, or perhaps better, more tracks that were a little too ‘progressive’ for me. I am left concluding, that a cherry-picked playlist covering their career that may or not be what would be generally considered their finest work would work for me. Again without facts to back this up, I think this is similar to my experience of Pink Floyd.
