James, you’ve clearly forgotten what the weather is like in Scotland! It’s rained here every day since we came home. No wonder I want to get away as often as possible. 
Weather forecast goes on about heatwaves and lack of rain in the south of the UK, meanwhile up here….
Can’t even get the cover off the bbq and outside furniture!

Sorry you’ve had to wait so long Brian.
Firstly the lyric. It was terrific, thought provoking and very current and very cleverly written.
I felt the melody was a little repetitive however. Ditch that horn/kazoo thing. It added nothing and ruined the flow of the song. As for the guitar we’ve talked about your finger strum technique many times in the past. A pick would allow you to add some embellishments.
I know you think of the guitar as a bit of a means to an end……

I do enjoy a bit of straight-talking in critiques. Polite applause is all well and good, but honesty is far more useful! Tell you what, I won’t ditch it, but will make more sparing use of the kazoo, ok? It’s just too much fun! I use it more as an indicator of “This is where there would normally be a guitar solo, but I’m not going to do one”
It feels good getting back into the swing of things again.
I enjoyed Boris’ and GlpGuitar’s visit last week, and that spurred me on to play Saturday’s OM.
Mark Peters mentioned carbon fibre/‘ideal guitars’ in a recent post, and that generated a dangerous spark near the GAS-field 
I revisited the Emerald Guitar website and watched the Virtuo review again.
One ring to rule them all…
I’d usually, quite rightly, think almost 2.5K for a guitar is bonkers; but then again I am selling a house…
