Canzone d'Amore - Classical Guitar

Thank you so much for this Lieven…and also Andrea @Helen0609 who found the flow to be really fine!

I made up my mind on this as goal number 1: make the music flow and try to give it a vibe the listener might connect to! Better technique will come with time and practice but first of all I need to consolidate this, being able to tell my story!

:heart_with_ribbon::heart_with_arrow::revolving_hearts: now I’m keeping on crying while reading this and all the others’ warm praise!

And some more thank you thank you to @sairfingers @Beatup6String :folded_hands::folded_hands:

Great Silvia, sounded beautiful. If only my fingers wandered around the fretboard like a spider too :+1: I enjoy watching this sort of playing but doubt I could even remember the fingerings let along get my fingers to move so fluidly. Well done. :+1:

I really liked your performance. It inspired me to pick up my spanish guitar more often, although I am nowhere near your relaxed playing style.

Beautiful. I so admire this ability (playing solos on Classical guitar). You are doing amazingly well.

No no Craig…you need to train them to go where you want to…not to wander :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:
Thanks so much for your feedback, I appreciate it much.

I’m glad it did Ruud…play something easy and short enough for you to be relaxed…there’s so much value in that…I wouldn’t be here if I didn’t start on the super easy materials! Thank you for listening and commenting!

I’m trying to imitate the composer’s performance, but with my self-taught beginner touch :joy:

Awww…thank you so much…you made my day :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

Silvia,

Such a joy to watch you play!!! You never fail to enchant me with your Classical pieces!
Watching this video, the phrase “Economy of Motion” came to mind… I really enjoy seeing a guitar player making all the necessary moves (without hesitation or uncertainty) very smoothly & effortlessly. That’s one of my guitar goals… it’s also a skill you displayed here! I am really proud of you!!! Well done!!!
Your guitar has a lovely tone that you’ve done a wonderful job of capturing!
Thank you for sharing!!!

Thank you so much Tod! Your comment brought much joy into my day!

Keep on going, be consistent, persist…it doesn’t happen overnight! I’ve been focusing more on my fretting hand this past year, and it’s already a few years since I first noticed how my pinky tended to be like glued to ring finger and it was real pain to put it down and fret the notes! Now it lands on the frets independentely from the other fingers almost confidently!

Me too, particularly I could watch for hours Ana Vidovic fingers, even without the audio, it’s pure beauty!

What a beautiful piece and a beautiful interpretation. This gave me goosebumps while listening! I just going fo another round of listening.

I have to check out Maria Linnemann - though i did not touch classical pieces yet will give it look and try

Keep the great stuff coming!

This is excellent. You articulate the melody very well, which is something I always struggle with when I play classical style pieces.
A very beautiful tune played beautifully.

Thank you Andreas @andyPlays

Have you checked the Falling Leaf Lesson by Justin? The concept is very useful and it’s much enjoyable to try and imagine how that leaf is falling while practicing. Thank you for listening Michael and your kind comment.

Thank you Kevin, but it’s always good to know where there is room for improvement
