Chord perfect and change tracking disfunction? Anyone else?

This seems to be a bug that goes back quite a while. In Chord Perfect or One Minute changes the app barely recognizes a picked note for a chord or the chord itself for tracking one minute changes. Justin states, probably right so, that one needs to know our progress past 30 changes per minute as an important milestone for graduation to more advance, yet still beginner, lessons.

BTW, it is not the microphone for either my iPhone or iPad as the Tuner app is very sensitive to low volume so the device is hearing the guitar perfectly well.

I am posting below the reply I rec’d from support just recently, yet they have not responded to further (4 tries) requests for assistance.

Thanks for such a thorough report, and sorry for the frustration.
There was a bug on our side affecting chord tracking. Please update the app to the latest version, then fully close and restart it (or reinstall) and try again.
If note or chord detection is still delayed after updating, reply here and we’ll take another look straight away.

Same symptoms on all my machinery/microphones.
Early on I just migrated to using my ear, and keeping my own count.
As an added bonus, counting helps distract you, so you get better playing with distractions :slight_smile:

Yes, easy to do … I use a metronome to set my pace. Still, I’d like to have the cleaner hits counted like in the app as well. Good point re. distraction!
