Yes, those open strings (6th, 3rd, 1st) are the notes E, G, E respectively so fall within the C major arpeggio. They are shown on the diagram as unshaded circles.

There’s a small typo here: Do Ré… Si (not Ti)
In English (at least in American) we say “Ti”. I know in Italian (and other languages) it’s “Si”.
Oh thank you John, I was not aware of that. I thought Europeans were the only ones who uses those names and of course I never heard of Ti.
