Btw, would anyone want to try their setup in the next few days, just like I want to try it out and have a short video audio meeting to see if everything works? I only had zoom meetings yet, but only on the tablet and never used an audio interface for that yet.
Edit: Now tested as Toby recommended - works, but audio quality is just ok, not great.
We have just done a little test with some performers … @Eccleshall Ruaridh, on an iPad, had a lower overall guitar / vocal level than everybody else. He did not have the cog wheel for Settings to adjust audio etc.
Is anyone familiar with iPad and Streamyard compatibility and functionality?
I am not an Apple person, but I did a quick search.
No, there is no built-in volume limiter specifically for the iPad microphone; however, you can effectively limit the maximum volume of your iPad’s microphone by accessing the “Restrictions” settings within your device, which allows you to set a “Volume Limit” for all audio sources, including the microphone.
Key points about iPad microphone volume control:
No dedicated mic volume control:
Unlike speaker volume, there is no direct slider to adjust just the microphone volume on an iPad.
Restrictions settings:
To limit microphone input, you need to go to “Settings > General > Restrictions” and enable the “Volume Limit” option.
App-specific limitations:
Some apps may have their own internal settings to adjust microphone sensitivity.
