I know, right? I live in Oregon (lots of farmers and other agricultural types), and the common lore suggests that the colleges and universities are on the quarter (rather than semester) system to serve ag and rural populations. There is no actual evidence to support this claim!

When I was younger, DST shifts never bothered me. As I get older, it feels like it takes my body a good week or more to adjust from the shift. I wish we would just pick a time and stick with it. There have been bills introduced in recent years at both the federal and state level, but it feels like they never go anywhere.
UK trialled that from October 1968 to October 1971. In December 1970 Parliament voted to end the trial.
Interesting thanks. The world was quite different back then… I wonder if it would be more successful now all that said I’m getting towards the end of my working years (hopefully) so even if they started talking about it again I’d probably be retired before it was implemented again
