Do you have favourites among Justin's lessons?

The lesson on how to eat a Tim Tam

That’s the secret sauce. We all have to find our own way. I suggest starting at the beginning, which is probably the best advice overall, but the reality is that people will ā€œshop aroundā€ a bit until they hit that ā€œAhaā€ moment.

My personal journey is very similar to @TheMadman_tobyjenner in that I took to the Beginner and Intermediate courseware to quickly bootstrap my playing after a long pause. I quickly jumped ahead of where I was previously.

Yes, but certainly also this one…

an important side note … that Ruthbusters is more for someone who doesn’t remember what how and why it, but it gives a good impression of what can be found here … even watching after 1 lesson.

To be honest, normally I would give someone the link to justinguitar with a few accompanying sentences and that it is 100% true what I say and that this is really the best online and they always can ask me more if they really want to learn to play.

And when I say that, I immediately see whether they will ever come here or whether it is just someone who is still in their lazy teenage phase and thinks it would be cool to learn guitar for a while… and will therefore never learn it… at least not in this phase of his/her life :upside_down_face:

People also have to show some initiative if they really want something from me . I give a lot of life-changing insights, but sometimes you have to pay a little attention… otherwise it’s just not their time yet to learn to life/play well .

Greetings
