My first single⌠I was foremost a Beatles fan (maybe 10 years old?) and just wanted any Beatles disc and I just grabbed what was there at this moment âGet Backâ / âDonât let me downâ. A whole LP would have been too expensive at this moment.
An album probably came arpound two years later, but Iâm not sure which of those was my first: The Police: Outlandos dâamour", Dire Straits (debut) (I loved âWater of Loveâ instantly, but the rest took me a bit of time to warm up with, Or Manfred Mannâs Earth Band âAngel Stationâ Have them all still at my fatherâs house (but probably in bad state). Listen to the digital counterparts still.
Oh, forgot - my mum once brought me the âHighway to Hellâ LP Maybe this was even the first LP I got. At that time, âTouch too muchâ was played around here in the radio quite often and I loved it.
Because of this thread, I went looking for an original copy and print of the first albume I got. I described it high up in the thread. Its the Devo New Traditionalist LP. Well I found one, the Devo 12" LP that I got when I was a kid. I was actually suprised when I found one with all the extra stuff that came in with the purchase. It even had to original plastic and price tag. I actually did decided to buy it, much my wife chagrin I should mention. 
I wish.Cool poster and totally DEVO style. Its crazy the poster by itself was silly expensive.

My first 7-inch single was The Sweet - Funny, Funny. I think I was in the 4th grade of primary school at the time.
My first LP was a double LP of Jesus Christ Superstar.
My Grandma let me buy an LP in town; my aunt went with me, along with my cousins. I actually wanted to buy Pink Floydâs Dark Side of the Moon, but my aunt claimed my Grandma wouldnât like that.
Iâve worn out the grooves on this record and sung along very often.
This Just Chatting is really fun; it really brings back memories here and there of music I used to listen to.
Itâs funny, I used to have the single âDave Dee, Dozy, Beaky, Mick & Tich - Tonight, Todayâ and I could never find that song again; I didnât even remember the title. Now it can just be found on Spotify. Found it again thanks to this thread.

I think I saw cool photos of Kieth Moon and Jimmy Page in Fur. You have got to be rock star status or a super rad pro athlete to pull off wearing those.
They have great music.
