So I finally got the nerve to record myself playing a cover of Steve Cropper’s guitar playing on Soul Man…it’s an MP4 done on Garage Band. Is it possible to share it here?

I think you can do that through iCloud as well, if you are in Apple land. Have not tried it myself with audio/video, but have successfully shared PDF chord and lyric sheets that way.

The most common way of sharing recordings here, is via YouTube. Most of us create their own channel (default with your log in) even if its just to share here. All you need to do is upload your video and declare as Unlisted or Public and the just drop the link here and it auto embeds.

Jim, you can’t upload source files to the Community platform. So either do as Toby suggested and share on YouTube or you can upload the file to an online data storage and share a link to the file there (remembering to allow access to anybody with a link). In both cases add the link in your post in Audio-Video Of You Playing

I’ve usually uploaded my MP4 sound files to SoundCloud and linked in the community such as my Learning Log.

As David said above, just create new topic/post in AVOYP with the Souncloud link.
