I just picked up guitar again and found my dvd strumming techniques 1 in de closet. Now, I know Justin has the Strumming SOS course here on his website. So now I’m wondering, does the dvd still hold up? And if I finish the dvd, will I be able to continue with the course Strumming dynamics? Or will I miss out on too much new stuff?

Indra I bought RUST 1 and 2 dvds anout a decade ago. And the contents still hold true today. And in respect of Justin’s ethos of paying it forward I also bought strumming SOS maybe 2 years ago. The 2 work well together but with some overlap. As you are restarting maybe stick with RUST for now and consider the SOS dodown the line.

I finish up with the dvd then. I’ll probably get the strumming SOS eventually, just like you said. I’m very excited with how much Justin’s website and idea’s have developed! So I’ll will be checking out those strumming courses soon.

As Toby says, you have a great learning resource.
As DVDs became less prevalent so that product was withdrawn and replaced with SOS.
Use what you have, it’s very beneficial in its own right.
