getting the F was actually pretty easy for me in terms of finger placement and getting the chord to sound good…It took me 2 minutes. Changes are more difficult. I like the original lesson on putting down the 3,4 then 2 then bar. I can get it almost perfect every single time
When trying to bar the f-chord my 2nd string is almost always muted. Any thoughts on how to adjust my grip?
It’s a little bit different for everyone as we all have different shaped fingers. Try getting the finger as close as possible to the fret to minimize the amount of pressure you need to apply. You will also need to experiment with moving your finger up or down to find the best position. I have the tip of my finger sticking out above the guitar neck more than most but I have to do it that way to get a clean chord.
