Took a stab at this today. Just crossed 4 months of guitar learning and I am currently on module 13. Im honestly enjoying the repertoire practice a whole lot more than the blues, power chords, etc…
Strings are all tuned half step down. Original key would’ve been standard tuning with capo on the 3rd fret.
Also down below is my re-upload of Simple Man (I actually tuned down the strings for this song and kept them as is for Coldplay)
Holy cow, this at 4 months?! That’s crazy progress. Clean chords, in time with steady strumming, good technique and the icing on the cake is singing while playing. You could get a crowd singing with you

Thank you for your positive feedback. When somebody says a song is their favorite, it definitely increases the pressure to make sure I don’t ruin it haha.
Anyway, the YT short got taken down for copyright, so I re-uploaded as a full form video. This time, with the strings tuned down half step so that it’d be easier to sing.
You did a great job! I have the same issue with singing high lol. Lately, I’ve been throwing in a capo at the 5th or 6th fret and just singing lower, makes it a lot easier

Man - four months in, and you are doing great! Very smooth changes, relaxed strumming, and a lovely voice!
Your voice is a bit low relative to the guitar, perhaps position your recording device differently?

Well done, wow only four months in and you can do this , nice voice and guitar playing, your practice time must be long , but whatever time you spend you are doing it right, cheers and keep the songs coming.

Nice progress for the time invested! Good play and vox. As others pointed out, the vox level is a bit low in some parts. Not sure if you have the ability to put your work into a DAW and fix that or not. If not, maybe vary your vocal output to bring it all up and turn your head away from the mic when you belt it out?
Keep that steady hand going on rhythm wise as it is serving you well. I like the sigh at the end of Simple Man! It says a lot!
