Hello Max.
Welcome to JustinGuitar and this fantastic community. Please take your time to look around and get to know the wider space. View by Categories.
We are a supportive and encouraging group of students and guitarists from across the world. Essentially, we are all here for music and to improve as players. We truly are a ‘community’. Members help and support one another and a friendly, positive attitude underpins this. We hope that all - young or old, experienced or new players - adopt and foster the pay-it-forward ethos that Justin personifies and embedded all those years ago when he started the website and forum.
Also, please make sure to read the Community Etiquette announcement for some important information and guidance.
If you want to record yourself to show your progress and / or seek feedback there is our ever popular Community Recordings section.
Behind the scenes there is a small and dedicated team who work to make the JustinGuitar experience as good as it can be. Check out the Onboarding sessions provided by Fanny. Justin also has a small group of Approved Teachers he recommends for people wanting 1-to-1 lessons to supplement his courses - of which I am privileged to be one.
That is plenty to be going on with. It is a vast community space so if you need help as you find your way around just ask.
Cheers. Richard

Heyo Tod,
It’s been a week now i’m learning guitar and croissant or pain au chocolat does not last more than 2 minutes when they’re here so it’s already a win
I’m thinking about buying a lot of stuff to my guitar when i eventually got enough money for it (cuz yeah, clumsily as i am, i will probably end up damaged it at some point if i’m not paying attention enough)
I noticed something cool with learning guitar, something that i didn’t quite feel with any other artistic skill before is that, more i play and more i actually want to play and i already see some improvements in the way i drum the right string or how fast i play which is honestly really rewarding.
Thannks for your sweet message and since you seem to enjoy croissants as much as i do, here one for you, enjoy it!

Hell, this guy is creepy. It’s kind of silly getting so much on nerve for something as simple as a croissant when you think about it. I hope he didn’t hurt anyone too much. People are really crazy sometimes.

Heyo Ian,
Actually, there are a lot of resources in France and probably also in Spain; the only difference is that quality content for non-English speakers is often really, really expensive.
About the croissant, they’re really good in Paris for sure, but where I live… let’s say it’s totally different. It’s not that it’s not good, but it more feels like junk food, the vagaries of the campaign.
Don’t worry about the guitar though, I would not get my messy paws on it before properly cleaning them >:3
Because you’re lucky, I still have one croissant that came directly from Paris. Enjoy it! ^^

I’m a hot air balloon pilot & in Albuquerque where I live we have an annual Balloon Fiesta… hundreds of balloons from all across the USA & around the world. One year, I was talking to a balloon team from Reims & told the croissant
story… they were like “Pffft! Must have been a Parisienne! They are always so angry!”
I’ve never been to Europe & so my experience with the French has been generally very positive! Just one lone French baker…

I’ve been to Paris one time, and while I met tons of sweet and cool people, I can’t deny there are a lot that are just rude. I think it’s because life gets pretty messy when you live in Paris; a lot of people are stressed out and always on the run.
