( Song learned with my guitar teacher outside the BLIM course from December to July )
( I got stuck to a chair starting April because I had 2 surgeries on my legs , it wasnt ideal since Im used to stand up when I play )
I really enjoyed watching / listening to your progress. I don’t know anything about blues so I’m not one to comment on the technique or anything, but it’s always nice to watch people’s progress and see how the hard work they put in pays off.
Actually, I really liked No. 2 because you seem to be very relaxed playing with that black Strat (lovely guitar) - really laid back vibe - and the tone of the guitar sounded great to my ears.
I think the temperature is getting a little cooler - at least it is here in Lausanne. Still hot but a bit more bearable. I think you are over the worst of the heatwave now.
As you have quite a collection of guitars, you might want to invest a little bit of time into learning to set up the guitar yourself. Most (but not all) of the setup is usually very easy with just a few simple tools (usually a couple of Allen keys and something to measure gaps between the strings and the fretboard.
The only thing I found that is a little more challenging is if the nut is not cut correctly. You need quite a few tools to properly cut the slots (expensive).
Otherwise the tools you need to do your own setup probably cost about the same amount of money as one setup with a luthier. You normally get the Allen keys with your guitar. Other than the nut, the usual setup just involves:
adjusting the truss rod (Allen key usually, and something to measure the gap)
adjusting the string height (action) - Allen key on a Strat, plus something to measure the height.
intonation - usually a screwdriver, plus a tuner (which I guess you have).
It’s not rocket science so even I can do it
There are literally hundreds of videos online showing how to do it for a Strat, telecaster, les Paul etc.

That is a clear progress Deborah. From few scale notes to proper licks. Both your Blues language improved and your technique. As Erion mentioned, it is time now to go deeper and consolidate slowly things.
