Guitar-Pro Software

Nope.

Like most phone/tablet apps, it has reduced functionality. It does have quite a lot of capabilities though, including looping, slowing down, etc.

It also has some editing capabilities, although I found editing with a small touch screen to be quite clumsy, even on a mid-sized tablet.

Personally, I found it useful for portable playback/practice of tabs I had edited on my PC and copied across, but I wouldn’t use it in place of the full PC version if I had a choice.

Cheers,

Keith

A couple of screen shots from the app:

Note that you don’t seem to be able to edit full GP files. The editing is a “Notepad” which has reduced editing capabilities compared to the full app.

I see what you mean about it being clumsy on the small screen. I’ll think about getting an iPad to use it on.

I’m now using GP on an iPad and trying to find if I can use it to scroll chord sheets. Can it be done on iPad?
