Hello, J.J. here in beautiful Larkspur California. I am 49 years old and have been learning guitar with the Justin App since March of this year. I really am enjoying the guitar experience. I play about 2 hours a day and have quickly progressed to Grade 3 Module 19 in the Justin App.
I enjoy playing lots of songs from difference genres and decades. It is interesting to me how different it can be to enjoy playing a particular song on guitar versus listening to that same song as a fan. Some songs that I love to listen to, don’t get me as excited to play. Other songs that are awesome to play hadn’t previously caught my interest listening to them. I started on a Jasmine accoustic guitar but have added a Squire Strat and an Epiphone Les Paul. I love playing all three. Photos are below. I am excited to continue to progress as a guitar player and to get to know this community better.

Welcome to the Community JJ. I know exactly what you mean, certainly learning new songs you would not normally listen to, opens up a much bigger spectrum of audio pleasure.
You got a nice little collection of guitars already! Also kudos for the rapid progress and time spent learning so far, wish I could spent 2 hours per day as well.
