Hello all, I'd like to introduce myself. Chris from Conneticut

Hello all from Connecticut! My name is Christopher or just plain Chris. Im a 41 year old newbie guitarist who has owned a guitar since i was thirteen but only started to get serious about it recently. I took 2 lessons when i got my first guitar and never followed through with it. I now have the motivation and desire to learn so here i am! I discovered Justin Guitar from just asking basic guitar questions online, on forums, social media etc…Justin Guitar was recommended countless times and now i understand why. I have learned so much in such a short period of time and it has been fun! I look forward to being a part of this community and hope to one day contribute my own knowledge to help those in my current shoes. So glad to be here!

Welcome Chris. I’m 6 months in and still plugging away. Justin guitar is brilliant and you’ll have a lot of fun along the way. The best Community I’ve ever come across. Good look and enjoy the ride. PS: it’s not a quick journey so settle in for the long haul, it’ll be worth it. Enjoy!!!

Hey Chris, welcome to the community. I long dreamed of learning guitar and thanks to Justin guitar over 10 years ago that dream became true for me. It’s so very worth the effort. I’ve never come close to regretting it, quite the opposite. Look forward to hearing more from you.

Hi Chris, welcome to the community. After graduation in school, before starting University, I spent a few months on a traineeship in Danbury, Connecticut, enjoying that very much. You have found the right place to learn, have fun and enjoy your progress!

Hi Chris,

Welcome! This is a very nice community to support you in your guitar journey, wherever it may lead you. Its all about supporting one another in that journey, and having fun! The AVOYPs are there to enjoy others in their journey, but also for you to develop as you post your own. The monthly community live events are of course truely enjoyable to watch.

Hello Chris.
Welcome to JustinGuitar and the Community. I’m arriving late to the hello and welcome party. By now you have been playing for a while - I hope you’ve made progress and are enjoying your music and playing songs.
The Community is large, as is the website. If you need any help with a lesson specific question or with any general guitar learning question then do not hesitate to ask. There are many good folk here who will happily offer help and encouragement to those coming up behind them on Justin’s Beginner Courses. They embody and carry the pay-it-forward ethos we have nurtured for many years in our community. There are many old hands too who have years and (hopefully) a bit of wisdom they can bring as they give their support to those hitting the road blocks - which we all do.
Just ask if you need anything.
Cheers
