Hello Community - Marc - Alabama - USA

Happy to have found you. I have tinkered with guitar since I was 10. Now retired, at 63 its time to dig deeper and have some real fun here in Alabama. I have been a bit confused about the whole payment structure and ways to learn Justin guitar. I am at grade 4 skill level. I purchased the lifetime app just to find out it only covered up to grade 3. That purchase said it covered lifetime lessons so I am not sure what I have actually paid for.

Welcome Marc, I’m sure someone with Justin Guitar will be with you shortly to answer your question. The guitar lessons are free. The lessons and songs apps are not, as he has to pay royalties to use the songs in it. If you go to the main page, click on your name, near the top left, and click ‘purchases’ when the menu opens, you can see what you paid for. Hope this helps, but someone from JG will get with you, I’m sure.

Thanks so much for the quick reply. Seems kike a wonderful community. Good day.

Hi Marc, and welcome
A guitar veteran even though still an amateur, now 73, from Poland here. I fully agree it’s a wonderful community, always willing to help. Great you’ve found this website. I’m sure you’ll enjoy every minute spent here talking guitar, listening to the members’ recordings or just chatting.
Sorry I can’t help you about the apps.
Regards

Tomasz

Welcome to the JustinGuitar Community, Marc.

While the app does provide the lessons, I generally recommend using the App as a supplement to studying the lessons on the JustnGuitar.com website, using the videos and additional information provided.

The primary benefit of the App is the guitar karaoke feature that enables people, particularly in the early stages to play along to songs to aid their strumming and chord changes.

At grade 4 level you may find the App isn’t as useful as what you may have thought. I suggest engaging with @FannyJustinGuitar who can confirm the current features available in the App (I am not an active user of it) and assist you further.

Welcome to the community Marc!

Welcome to the community. Retirement and guitar go together very well. I can’t figure out how I had time to work for all those years. So much to do, so many songs to learn. Woo Hoo. Look forward to hearing more from you.

Hi Marc ,

Welcome here and I wish you a lot of fun :smiling_face_with_sunglasses:
