I watched the Bruins a lot as a kid. My brother taught me all the rules. Even though i grew up in Massachusetts i never did see a game in person. I have seen the Red Sox at 3 different stadiums though.

Nice to hear that you are making the most of an unfortunate accident.
I worked with a guy who lost his thumb in a motorcycle accident. Years later (not sure how many years later) he had his big toe removed to take the place of his missing thumb!
