Today I‘m visiting my old „Hello“-thread again, because this day feels special to me:
Yeah, there are three candles on my Justin Guitar birthday cake today.
I joined the community on 30th June 2023, and I’m still as excited about my journey as I had been on that very first day.
And what a great journey it has been so far! Slowly but steady I worked and practiced myself through the Beginner Courses and currently I‘m in the last module of Grade 3.
This summer I‘ll spend some weeks with consolidation, so maaaaaybe I can start with Grade 4 in autumn or winter.
And I‘m waiting for Rock Immersion, of course, hoping to be ready for it when it starts.
My guitars (there are three now) have a special place in my heart and in my daily life now, and my only regret is that I hadn‘t started earlier.
I can hardly wait to see what‘s coming next.
All of this would not have been possible without all of you: Justin, all the awesome teachers, the incredible JG-team and everyone here in this great community.
Thank you so much to all of you!
You are the reason why after three years I still pick up my guitar with enthusiasm (almost) every day and enjoy every single moment of my musical yourney
Happy JustinGuitariversary, Gunhild!
I am so glad you’re here learning guitar and part of this amazing community. Thank you for being here
Your guitar enthusiasm really shines through too
Thank you so much Deborah @GrumpyMac
Hope that you still enjoy your beautiful Red Special
Have you watched the scifi-movie with the Brian May-soundtrack already?
Thanks a lot for your kind words, Steve @SteveL_G99
Forum members like you really make this community something special, and I‘m very happy to be here, too
Thanks a lot, Ferdinand @trusted
Great that you have started in Jan 2026! Hope that you enjoyed your musical journey so far. And there is so much more awesome stuff to come.
Keep up the great work, have lots of fun and success.
With such a wonderful hobby time really flies, and soon you‘ll make a similar post
Thanks a lot for your kind wishes, Tod @CATMAN62
Oh yes, I still love to be here and enjoy my guitar time - even more and more with every step forward.
Are you planning to join Rock Immersion, too? Wow, that‘s great news! Hope to see you there
Thank you so much for your rockin‘ wishes, Rogier @roger_holland
I hope that you are well and have a great time - playing guitar and enjoying your beautiful garden
Do the aphids behave themselves this summer?
If not, I‘ll send some
Thank you so much for your kind wishes, Jasmine @AvalonJ
Hope that you have fun, too. Great to have you here in the forum
Just like you I don‘t play it much either. I noticed a bit of neck dive, too, but the main reason is because the guitar is so dear to me. It was a present from my dad. So the „Red Special“ really is very special to me and I don‘t use her for my daily practice.
No, I haven‘t watched the movie either, and I don‘t plan to. But maybe I‘ll buy the soundtrack, if available. The music must be epic
…for being part of this Community and sharing your enthusiasm for guitar learning as you always do and oncemore with this cheerful and full of positive vibes’ write-up.
And of course for being a great supporter really to our guitar journeys!
A belated happy 3rd JGversary! (if such word ever exist, but you know what I mean)
