Help Transcribing a little riff

Hi,

I found this little riff on Instagram which I really like but can’t figure out how to play it.

It sounds like it’s in a non-standard tuning but I’ve tried drop d and can’t get it to match.

Any help would be appreciated.

Never heard of these guys, yes I am older person, nice chords though.

I did a bit of investigating, listening and playing, even detuned my guitar.

Try tuning down all strings half step to Eb(D#)tuning.

Not sure but chords could be played as (so you play them as if in normal tuning)

E Major Asus2 B5 C#5

The B5 a C#5 are played as power chords with 1st and 2nd strings open.

I am not sure but suspect he is playing higher up the neck with open chording using a capo.

Let me know if it helps, I could be completely wrong.

I’m away with work for a couple of days but will try these when I get back.
