A warm welcome to the community, Sonja .
I wish you lots of fun along your guitar journey .
Hi Sonja, Welcome to the community. You have a good guitar to learn the styles of music you desire to play. You will start learning rock and blues in grade 2. Have fun learning to play songs along with the right techniques. Be sure to look at Justin’s songs lesson videos, my favorite part of the website. Justin shows how to play songs with simple chords and strums and then jow to add new techniques (chords, strums and riffs to the songs).
Hello Sonja,
greetings from Nuremberg!
Very nice guitar! Like you I play a on a black Epiphone (different model though). Wishing you lot’s of fun with your guitar and here in the forum with all the other guitar enthusiasts!

Welcome, Sonja!
I can’t decide which I like better, the guitar or the poster
I’m also a lefty, but playing guitar right-handed feels natural to me.
Happy to see you restart your guitar journey. Always give yourself at least 5 minutes a day, even on those days where you feel you don’t have the time. I wish I’d started earlier (decades earlier).
Here you have a chance to perform in front of others (virtually) in the AVOYP section, and your efforts will be welcomed. There are so many wonderful people in this community who are happy to help us along in our guitar journey.
Hi Sonja ,
Welcome to the community
It’s a very supportive place here, so best of luck on your guitar journey and hope you find it a great place to make music
Cheers

Hello and welcome!! You’ll find just about everything you need here, just stick with it
I have always wanted to go to Berlin. I hope that I can make it there someday!
Welcome Sonja!
Hi Sonja, welcome. Good you’re back at learning guitar. With the help of Justin Guitar lessons you’ll be able to play a grand variety of songs and if you don’t find anything you like in the numerous song lessons he has you’ll be able to use more effectively other resources and even at some point do your own transcriptions. That being said some songs that you don’t like too much or don’t like at all can be an excellent exercise to develop your guitar skills so throw some of them in the mix. Have fun.
