Just re-visited this thread & saw the pic you posted of your Strat… WOW!!! She’s a real beauty!!!
As I calculate it, you’re about 12 weeks in, how’s it going?
Are you past the worst of the finger pain now?

This is pretty typical at various stages along the way… learning guitar is like learning just about pretty much anything else - peaks, valleys & plateaus… the peaks are exhilarating, the valleys are discouraging & sometimes the plateaus (ruts) seem to last way too long.
To paraphrase Dory in “Finding Nemo” - Just Keep Strumming, Strumming, Strumming!!!
