Learning bass at the same time as guitar: Pros and cons

Hi everyone, I’ve been learning guitar and following Justin’s guitar course since the end of June 2023. I’m on Grade 2, Module 10 and consolidating what I have learnt in that module. Progress is steady but slow. I’m not in a big hurry to try and advance as fast as possible. I practice nearly every day about 1 hour - sometimes more, sometimes less.
