What I see is that you are very stiff with the grip making your wrist rotation stiff.
Read through some of the old questions on this and see f you locate some ideas to ease that. I’ll link my own posts, but there is information above and below mine!

I had trouble with my pick spinning around, not with dropping it (not very often). It took some time paying mental attention to my pick position and what made it spin to get things to work well.
I think your mojo grip has been a crutch that did not serve your learning well. I did the same using the app to play songs without learning them. I finally made the decision to just learn and drop the crutch. It was a good decision.

The pick moving is more about the position and angle you are striking the string(s) with. I hold my pick what I would consider medium-light tension in my fingertips.
Pay attention to wrist rotation, pick rotation in the fingers (in all dimensions), angle of the attack to the strings from arm moving, and depth of the pick when striking the strings. You can make small adjustments with these until you have a reasonably solid strum without the pick moving on you.

I went to a stiffer pick more quickly than you. It took some getting used to, but I liked the feel and sound of it better than the soft nylon. My pick grip just sort of started to work well kind of “over night”. I had trouble and then I didn’t a few days later.
There are subtleties in your wrist rotation and string attack that I don’t seem to have earned by conscious thought, but more from playing. Once your string attack gets a little more ironed out in your mind, the pick won’t spin so ea…
