January Recordings- Flame Trees an Aussie classic + It's a long way there

Hi my fellow Justineer’s
I came across a video of this song a couple of weeks ago with Birtles, Shorrok and Goble the original members of the Little River Band performing this song. It was at the Forum in 2003. I loved it and it motivated me to try and arrange a solo acoustic version that I could play at my gigs. So here are my efforts. As always all feedback appreciated.
Cheers
Ron

Well done! Is that a TE EB 808 you’re playing?

Enjoyed your performance, particularly the variations in the guitar accompaniment. Your singing is good too. Although the song is new to me it was full of positive echoes for me - CSNY, Phil Collins. Well played Ron!

Fabulous Ron. Some excellent playing, great vocal as always and use of the gear. I think you got the mix on this one spot on.

That was great, Ron! Great guitar playing and singing, both. You clearly have a nice setup with your gear, whatever it is. You are way beyond my abilities at this point but a great source of inspiration!

Thank you so much Ted. I generally play a Maton Messiah plugged into a TC Helicon Play Acoustic. This provides the fx for both voice and some great body rez settings for guitar. In the computer end I am using a iMac with OBS for recording. I have a green screen behind me for producing the image of the guitar as my back drop via Chrome key filtering. My final video that I post annd edit and do some audio clean up is Davinci Resolve.
