I’ll do a heads up sweep to catch all that have expressed an interest but really pleased to see the response. Guess if I was younger I’d say awesome or stoked but just chuffed with the replies. Reckon we might just have a show.
But early days, come on in folks the waters lovely !
This is a really great opportunity, sure you may be anxious, but it will remain forever as an unforgettable step on your guitar journey.
I often sit back and smile, about taking this step with a great supportive community. There is no better place to start. It lead me to playing live locally at open mics. I NEVER expected to play for anyone when I first started this marathon.
The Justin OM was definitely a highlight so far.

I love the idea. Funny timing as I was planning to ask the boss if our schedule is clear for the June open mic for me to sign up for the first time as a performer.

By the way… my OMs are still so full of flaws… I’m sure I would qualify as a first timer still!

Yup. Don’t want to wait until August. I’m hoping to use the new resonator. I just need to master, or at least not butcher, a song that will do it justice.

I encourage anyone that is nervous and on the fence about performing, you will never play for a more supportive audience. Just go for it. The rewards are amazing.

It sounds like you have to have been an audience member prior to signing up for any open mic events. Is that correct?

Strictly yes but we might be a bit flexible on the first FTO gig (sshhhh) but by coincidence, there will be seats available here
