If you click on your profile photo, top left corner it will bring this menu up and various latest post info to the left. The “inbox” is the envelope 4th down under the heart. If you have unread mail it will show how many.
Your profile photo should also get a green marker if you have a new message.
Can’t remember is this is just a green blob or envelope !!
