Firstly, welcome to the Community Mas.
It is common, though not mandatory, to post an introduction in Community Hub > Introduce yourself ... with some personal background, guitar history, and goals as a member of the JustinGuitar Community.
With regards to performing at an OpenMic, you will be welcome but please note the qualifying criteria, viz:
- Attend an OM as an audience member
- Post an AVOYP
- Be an active member of the Community
So join the next in the audience and that will allow you time to immerse in the Community activity and share a recording in Community Recordings > Audio-Video Of You Playing

We are a supportive and encouraging group of students and guitarists from across the world. Essentially, we are all here for music and to improve as players. We truly are a ‘community’. You also need to be active in the community, which requires more than just making a couple of posts; it requires interacting with other members. And to help with that, I recommend using Google Translate to post in English, as people post in English regardless of their native language.

As @DavidP has said, we have some expectations and criteria for anyone wishing to perform. The Open Mic events are hosted to give JustinGuitar students in the Community an opportunity to play to a live audience of their fellow students and Community friends.
