“Let It Be” by The Beatles, written by Paul McCartney, is primarily about acceptance, hope, and finding peace amidst difficult times. It conveys a message of surrendering to what is, trusting that things will eventually be okay, and not dwelling on what cannot be changed. The song also touches on the idea of letting go of worry and finding solace in the present moment.
Guitar seems pretty right on. Needs some work in the treatment department I think. Though it sounds pretty good as is.
On the vox, I think your down an octave? Something does not sound quite right there to me. Have you tried it with the vox up an octave? Can you get there? If not, maybe a capo could help you out mate. As is, I find the guitar and vox kind of competing for the frequency space as they sound possibly in the same area. If you can separate them somehow I think it would be light years better…
Let It Be: I loved the tone on this. The bass helped it also.
Demons: Nice cover. Good job! I have recently (about a year or two ago) learned of Imagine Dragons. They are now one of my favorites within the Alternative Rock and Indie Pop.
Hello: Oh, come on! That pun was too intended!!!
But seriously, maybe I shouldn’t joke. This is a sad one and, as you said, it means something special to you. You did it much justice. I saw nothing to suggest improvement. I could tell it was heart- felt. Good work on them all, Bytron.
Thanks Pkboo! On hello, I was trying to be lighthearted about it Even though it is a serious song for me and it speaks to me! Gotta have a little fun with it though!
On the others, thank you! Demons and Let It Be def arnt my best song ive done.
