I donât get it.
I asked ChatGPT to generate a poem in the style of Tolkien, about someone learning to play Blues guitar. Pretty uncanny resultâŚ
In shadowed halls where echoes ring,
The bluesmanâs strings begin to sing,
With silver steel and fingers worn,
A melody of night is born.
By moonlit stream and starlit fire,
He bends the notes, each wail grows higher,
A cry of sorrow, deep and wide,
Yet joy beneath, the pain implied.
His hand it strays, both bold and free,
Through winding paths of minor key,
In ancient woods the chords entwine,
With roots of oak and sacred vine.
And in that song of dusk and flame,
He finds the heart of ancient name,
A wizardâs spell in bending note,
The blues, the lore of men, remote.
hmm. maybe it couldnât find a rhyme with âI woke up this morninâ?
I agree!!! Uncanny, but I like it!!!
Back in my teens, when The Hobbit, The Lord of the Rings Trilogy, The Silmarillion & all things Tolkien were very important in my life, I wrote âElvishâ poetry. Some of the ones were kind of similar to this!!
Pretty cool!

Could be how I promoted it. Tolkien style poem about learning to play blues rather than a blues song about learning to play guitar⌠I might have a play around later!
that may be interesting. I was totally making fun of ChatGPT - my opinion of that technology is very low.
Heâs obviously a craftsman with his own priorities.
His guitar is quite basic whereas his hat stand is quite elaborate!

Not quite⌠Stacy beat you to it by a day
What Iâm learning is a bunch of us also lurk in r/guitar lol
Lurking is about all a person can do in r/guitar because as soon as you ask a question you either get criticized for not practicing enough or they mock you into oblivion on r/guitarcirclejerk.
Fixed
Whatâs r/guitar? A reddit group?
