Being in my 20s in the 70s was more fun than being in my 70s in the 20s.

(I was built in 1949 though, not the fifties.)

Ok, this was so much fun, but it’s not a joke, it happened for real yesterday as I was cleaning the kitchen after dinner and my husband was learning English on Duolingo in the living room.

Duolingo: “My guitar is broken”.
Me from the kitchen: “oh noooo!” :joy:
Duolingo: “I play the guitar”
Me: “Me too!”
Duolingo: “You play the guitar, right?”
Me rocking into the living room: “Oh yeah, baby…I dooo!”

(…swearing…ooooops :face_with_hand_over_mouth::innocent::laughing:)

Did you know they did different colour Darrell ?

Toby, I understand the colo(u)r differences are species-related. Different species thrive in different geographies. I’m not familiar enough with the details to identify where the red and green guitar-yielding trees grow. :evergreen_tree:

Red cedar = red guitar

EverGREEN (any species) = green guitar

Easy~Peasy!!!

Where can I get one of those beavers? We have a nice little river around where it can happily live and build me a few guitars.

Mmm could be a slight flaw in that theory Tod ?

Cedar is a majestic, evergreen conifer which can grow to 35m. The bark is blackish-brown with closely spaced ridges and cracks, and twigs are brown and slightly hairy. It has a distinct shape, with several trunks and clear horizontal layers in its structure.

Think I can afford 90 secs to type a response now and then in my busy schedule.

If you’re ever in the mid-Willamette Valley, Oregon, USA, look me up! I can show you several beaver homes. We even spotted one of those elusive critters this past winter! They’re happy here, though, and I don’t think you could entice one to come home with you. :beaver:
Sorry Michael @mfeeney0110, I guess this beaver bit tickled several funny bones. :winking_face_with_tongue:
