Katana or Guitar Rig6?

That’s a Tone Master Deluxe Reverb! Took me scrolling down to figure it out. A Katana would be a step down in my opinion. Learn about pedals, get some pedals, build out a pedalboard and have at it with that great Fender tone.

I think it really boils down to what you plan to do. I like to record when I practice so the PC route made sense. I picked up a good set of studio monitors and they hook direct to the Scarlett so it sounds really really good. I really like Amplitube and am amazed how many great tones I get. I do also have a Katana MK2 and a Fender LT25. They are both decent but really I just need a PC and an interface and I have so much available to me haha.

Rob,

Nice setup. Which studio monitor did you end up getting ?

Also, if I understood correctly your message, you like more the sound of amplitude than the boss katana ?

So went with the GT1 into the TMDR option. Sounds really good & I can see it’s going to get me the tones I want without having purchase a ton of pedals or buy new amps.

Thanks for all the input everyone.
