I think this would be great. Like the OP, I would be keen to get a visual roadmap that helps chart out the theory & techniques that are seen as important steps toward various styles of guitar playing. I get that the beginner course syllabus is generic, touching on all base areas of guitar playing to get a good grounding but I also remember one of your videos talking about deciding what is important to you as an individual and refining your practice/learning to suit those goals. For example, I am not particularly interested in singing or playing at the campfire for friends. I’m more interested in finger style, improv and probably blues. In other words, playing by myself for my own benefit. I’d love to see a visual roadmap which helps me decide what learning is going to be critical for what I want to do with guitar, and what is potentially of little/no interest. Obviously, there would be technique overlap across branches of styles as some techniques & skills are relevant to multiple guitar playing goals. I’m currently doing Grade 3, so some of what I am seeking may well already exist in the Intermediate courses. Fwiw I certainly feel that at this point, to refer to one of your recent videos, my lego blocks of skills is very flat (one block high on many things) and I’m keen to start concentrating on building one or two taller stacks…and I think a roadmap might help.
