Congrats on completing Module 1, Navtosh, and for making the video and sharing.
All I would say is when you make a mistake or have a hesitation about the chord change, try and keep the strumming going in the same rhythm. And maybe right at the end, keep strumming on the count when strumming once in the bar, as it helps keep the timing spot on for the changes. Bottom line keep that strumming hand in motion all the time.
Well done Navtosh…nevermind the few mistakes, you’re doing great! David already gave you all the good advice you need. Keep on having fun and practicing!
Thanks for the suggestion. I do try to maintain the rhythm and keep on strumming, as Justin mentions. But here in this case I was ‘distracted’ by singing while playing.
I intend to practice more on rhythm amd especially with metronome before moving on Grade 2
Good stuff Navtosh. +1 on David’s comments.
My comment is to watch your posture. Sitting crossed legged playing guitar won’t do your back any good in the long term.
Hi Navtosh,
Congratulations on your first video , that is a big and important step … and you can see that it works well, post a video, what good feedback you get , the tips you have received to help you in grade 2,
I think it is really great to see you are also SINGING in your first video. You wont believe how lucky you are you can play and sing in such early stage.
I enjoyed the video. Thanks for share.
Hi there. Considering you’re just done with grade 1 great progress. The one feedback I have is keep the hand moving always. There were a few times you stopped maybe to think of what to play? Bravo for posting. Keep it up.
