I was thinking of a way of not bringing my ‘pedal’ which is the PodGo. Tbh, I’m a bit embarrassed when I pull a big flashy bit of tech out of the bag and feel it gives the impression I can actually play! 
The THR looks more modest and would give me some tone choices but can’t plug into a PA
I had forgotten about the Trio fx function. I did check it out when I got it but was not impressed with the difference in tones. Perhaps I might be more discerning now?
Always good to remind yourself how all this stuff works though…
