Your melody sounded good. You seem to be covering most of the fret board too. I hope you are back on both legs soon.

This was quite a fun listen. I also listened to your recording of BLIM challenge 2. Well done, it does not sound like you’re playing up and down the scale which is super cool, I guess BLIM and your regular practice routine is working well for you!
I have one piece of feedback that am not sure exactly how to put it into words but try to allow your right hand to deliver emotions as well. As in, most of the dynamics (apart from rolling off volume knob, changing pick ups during a solo or going from clean to distortion…so not sure if most is the right word :D) comes from the way we pick. I assume it probably comes naturally eventually, but try playing around with it for a bit, just to see how sound changes if you give it a proper oomph or if you approach the solo very softly. (Try also doing it without playing faster or slower.)
I don’t know if this makes any sense at all. But overall, really enjoyed listening to the two challenges!

@beejay56 thank you
@glpguitar thank you too ^^
I understand what you mean but dont expect me to play like a pro after just 3 months of BLIM ![]()
I m already quite happy being able to create melodies at this stage
Im trying what you say on Wonderful Tonight
often Im trying to be so soft that the string dont ring ^^”
its like Im not playing and missed a note so Im still working on it
Its easier to try this sort of thing on a song rather than on a created melody
I dont know , maybe because I already know how it sounds in my head since I already know the song
it is hard for me to play sitting on a chair since Im really not used to it ^^”
I was quite happy with the result since I didnt think I would be able to play for a month after the surgeries

Wonderful tonight : I learned half the song , 4.30 mins on 8.30
Its a live so the song a longer than a radio version
its a bit like learning 2 songs in 1
Im stuck on a passage at the moment
I have to do a full 4 fingers G chord which has never been my friend ![]()
so for the moment I work on this part , trying to get my fingers accustomed to the various grips because so far I usually use a normal D chord form instead of a D5 but for this part of the song I really have to do a D5 form thanks to the little 4 just before the G

Very frustrating practice on WT this evening ![]()
I have issues memorising songs , probably linked to my head trauma
I just blank out while Im playing … it just usually tells my that Im having a migraine crisis
trying to play in this state is a nightmare and just frustrates and irritates me
but not playing is wasting an evening ![]()
my teacher finally answered my email
He said : well done on WT ! we ll talk about it tomorrow
so at least my practice recording from last time wasnt too bad
