I went to my guitar lesson today
first time I went to Roanne since last June
it was only online lessons for the past 3 months
I was glad to take the bus again ^^
today we worked on BB king first
the last part of the song !
I ve almost learned the whole song
the last part must be around 30 secs
Then we worked on the lesson : How to Pick Individual Strings While Strumming in grade 3 / module 17
this lesson is not easy
my teacher taught me an exercise , I ll add it to my daily practice ( 5 to 10 mins everyday )
After I tried a bottleneck he had at home
just to see which size I need to buy
Id like to work on the lessons : Open Tuning Basics in grade 3 / module 18 and the Slide guitar basics lesson in BLIM
its a side project , to have fun
We started working on a J J Goldman song
this is my big " one year " project
Its one of my " dream " song so I really hope I ll be up to the task
We finished on my minor triad / melody exercise
I played him the melody I created
He corrected 2 mistakes
One was a bend mistake , I was doing a full bend where I needed only a half bend
the full bend reached a major note where I needed to stay in minor
The second mistake was a clashing note in the melody , it was a correct note but it sounded a bit weird
I should record this little melody in order to not forget it
Next time we will resume our transcribing lessons !
I ve got many things to practice now ! I ll be busy !

I now know the whole song
I can play the last part learned but still struggle to link it to the rest of the song yet
so this evening , when I was in the bus going to the supermarket , I worked on visualisation
picturing the neck of the guitar in my head and playing some air guitar with my left hand
people must have thought I was crazy XD
Thanks a lot
I never thought Id go this far when I started ^^"
the log really helps me

Hopefully, they noticed and departed thinking what an interesting journey. In this day in age they all seem to be unaware of their surroundings as glued to electronic devices. I remember watching the clip of Billy Connolly (famous comedian) stepping out of the drivers cab of a tube train in london and not one person in the passengers cab batted an eyelid at him. They were too glued to their copy of the free newspaper.

I was wondering why I was having a frustrating practice session today
then I realised I had a huge pain throbbing in my right arm
I worked in the morning and it looks like I overdid it
the nerve in my right arm hurts like hell from the jaw to the wrist and I can barely move it
worst is , I still have some gardening to do
I must not do anything tomorrow , not even cooking
it is sadly true
I guess thats why Mick Jagger can visit towns without being annoyed
I spoke about this with my mother once
I guess that most people do not really believe its the genuine person so they do not really know what to do
If I were to cross the path of a celebrity one day , Id never believe its really him or her … Id rather think its a doppleganger ^^"
I walked past Billy Connolly in Glasgow years ago when I was a student. I was in a hurry for a train, thought to myself “I know that guy from somewhere, probably from University or somewhere, so I should say hello”. He said hello back and we kept on walking. Only thenI realised who it actually was.
