BLIM is rather electric guitar blues. An emphasis on licks and soloing. Much more content.
ANd more, one player plays chords, the other can get wild all over the fretboard soloing. (You learn both parts)
Here, itās one player who does it all, (and typically rather on an acoustic) but a bit simpler.
I updated it yesterday on the websiteā¦as I checked but couldnāt find a way to update it on the Community and I thought probably soon or later the system will match it automatically. Do you know a way to update it directly feom here?
The picture is really cool, isnāt it?
It makes me younger, with no white hair and improves other aspects too
The new songs sound great, and I could definitely use a lot of help with my improvisation I agree, I donāt think it was explained very clearly in the older course.
I think I prefer Guitar Pro too but yeah, Iāve always been happy with all the other JG courses Iāve purchased.
Yes! thatās what I love about the Blues! Sometimes gives me goosebumps.
Plus itās so fun to learn to play.
When Iām a bit more confident with the songs I might ask for feedback on the feel from the Community
Thanks also again to Rogier @roger_holland and Silvia @Silvia80
I think Iāll go ahead and buy it. Happy Christmas to me too
Good morning Rogier! @roger_holland thank you!
I got it! I had a look already, Iām so excited!
so much to learn, wishing you a lot of fun and also wishing me a lot of fun
Letās play
Are there demos of the various pieces available before buying? All due respect to Justinās compositional skills, I would be more inclined to buy the course if I knew that I actually liked the pieces.
Itās a shame Justin didnāt use well-known traditional pieces (like St. Jamesā Infirmary, Trouble in Mind, etc.), perhaps in his own arrangements that emphasize particular skills. Oh, well.
I think the pieces might be the same. It would seem Justin has extended from a short play through piece to a way of bursting beyond it and seeing each piece as a platform / framework for longer playing with improvisational opportunities. Of course, the MatchMySound is there also.
In addition to the already 3 free and updated and truly improved versions of this course, 8 others have been divided into grade 4 and grade 5 and the updated lessons are divided per arrangement, each containing 3 lessons.
an example of a big addition what an arrangement looks likeā¦
( @Richard_close2u is this foto oke?)
I expect that āimprovisingā lesson will be extra interesting for many intermediate guitarists
I think All the rest of the extras are all in Justinās description
