Thanks so much, Rogier. Fortunately, the medical staff taking care of me do their best to help. I too hope to play my new Gibson for many years to come…

Not just look, grab it and play… As long as the strength allows, so far no traces of serious weakening, luckily. Thanks for your support, John.

Hehe… that was good, Brian. Believe me or not, nothing ever happened to any of my guitars by accident… But you’re right, I’m aware what may happen to an LP’s headstock if your not careful…
Thanks for the good wishes

What a beautiful birthday gift Tomasz. Keep your music going, and if you do end up in hospital, be sure to sneak in your Gibson and amp so you can entertain the entire floor! Good luck.

@mfeeney0110 @DeltaTyne @Beatup6String : Many thanks for the words of support and encouragement, truly appreciated, you guys are great; one appreciates what good friends are especially in the times when predicament comes…
After first ā€˜noodling’ jams I love the Studio, too. I’ll need some time to fully get accustomed to it, particularly to getting as many possible tones as possible using just the on-board controls  , before I record something suitable for presentation at JG.
Thanks again!

That’s one gorgeous guitar, Tomasz! I’m happy, that this purchase enlightens darker times for you. I truly know what that means, I went through a full treatment in 20/21. It’s a big deal to be able to keep up a positive mindset and playing guitar will help for sure. I wish you all the best from the bottom of my heart and strength to overcome this. One day after another… I learnt to enjoy all the little things along the road and I grew inside. I hope you can get lots and lots of fulfilling hours with your guitars and I’m already curious what fine treats to our ears will come out of it.
Stay strong :green_heart:!

Andrea - I know my situation isn’t something unique; many people go through such problems in modern world with our unhealthy life style… Positive mindset, however, is my second nature, and it’s certain I’ll keep struggling, ā€˜with a little help from my friends’ and from the passion we share.
Thank you so much for the words of encouragement. Getting acquainted with my new baby almost made me forget about my condition. :slightly_smiling_face: :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

I will, and that’s a promise  Thanks, Mal.

LIke all the saturdays after work, being tired, but wanting to record something nice, and while having a not so easy time with it - being quite tired - and also reading through this heart warming thread, I felt that I would really love to record a song together with you some day! I know, I am quite a few levels below your playing, and a song with you alone would probably be better than if it included me - but still
At the very least, I could do my best in providing some bass guitar or doing a good mix.
Ok, I should have prepared my elevator pitch better…

It’s very flattering, you know? Actually I have never though highly about my skills as a musician. I would probably consider myself as an ā€˜advance amateur’ that’s all…
Yes, making a song together would certainly be doable, however before starting any kind of co-op I would like to sort out my health problems, at least to a stage when I’d have a longer period of time without examinations, treatment, checks etc. After all, we will be meeting at this forum often, right?

Oh, wonderful news for me! Yes, whenever you feel like it.
And only if (and possibly when) you consider it fun and not some kind of stress.

Yes, I plan on seeing you for a long time to come around here!
Thank you Tomasz!

Yes, very much this. Quality of life and Outcomes are very dependent of a patients attitude and outlook. Keep your head up. Have somthing to fight for even it its pick that guitar up and having a sturm of a song or chord progression that make your feel happy and love.

I think it is a fabulous gift for yourself and well deserved. Your musical contributions to the site have been inspiring to me. Thank you for sharing, keep us up to date.
