Congratulations - Looks very nice
Congratulations!
That is one great guitar you have there! Wow!
One question though, as i have never heard this before:
Could you provide a picture? And what is the reason behind the placement in the soundhole?
What do these switches do?

Hi there,
I thought it was very peculiar myself and did some research online. Martin designed it this way to make it look like a traditional acoustic guitar without obvious electronics. Inside the sound hole is a volume and tone control plus a phase switch to decrease electronic feedback and bass. On the other side is a built in tuner so you can tune your guitar on stage.
Thanks Tony.
Thanks Roger. I was supposed to be buying a backup guitar but ended up buying a fancy Martin professional level guitar. It’s amazing so far.
Amazing. Thank you for the pictures. Never seen that before untill now.
That’s a gorgeous guitar!
That sound great. ![]()
Very nice! I see the Sweetwater watermark in the photo. I think you might have gotten the last one they had in stock. ![]()
Thanks so much Colin. Gave her a test drive on 2 open mics this week
Thanks Jason. Great to see you at the open mic.
Haha that company never runs out of guitar stock. Might them more than my mortgage company if I had my way lol
Thanks, nice performance too.
To follow up, after playing the Martin guitar for a while then going back to the Taylor that had a fresh setup, I would say the biggest difference is the Martin is more bass heavy when strumming and has a slightly louder projection of sound acoustics compared to the Taylor. Both are great and I wouldn’t want to get rid of either one.
